• First-Hand Experience Only: Reviews must reflect your actual, personal stay or visit at the designated property.

• Subjective Ratings: Sensory ratings (e.g., lighting, sound, crowds, scents, textures) represent individual, subjective experiences. They are opinions only and should not be treated as professional accessibility certifications, safety assurances, or medical advice.

• Prohibited Content: We strictly prohibit content that contains hate speech, harassment, threats, personal attacks or defamation targeting hotel staff or individuals, commercial promotions/spam, illegal content, or fraudulent/paid reviews.

• Moderation and Removal Rights: We reserve the right (but assume no obligation) to review, flag, reject, or remove any review or content at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason or no reason.

3. User Content License

You retain ownership of the written text and scores you submit to The Sensory Score. However, by submitting a review, rating, or feedback to the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, display, reproduce, modify, distribute, and publish that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

4. Platform Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

• Opinions, Not Endorsements: Reviews published on the Platform express the opinions of individual users and do not reflect the views, advice, or endorsements of The Sensory Score. We do not independently verify the factual accuracy or sensory claims made in user reviews.

• "As-Is" Provision: The Platform and all hosted content are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of hotel descriptions, sensory scores, or user reviews.

• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including UK and US laws), The Sensory Score, its owners, and operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, reliance on any review, or any dispute with a third-party business or hotel listed on the site.

5. Dispute and Notice Process (Hotels, Copyright, and Defamation)

Hotel owners, property representatives, or copyright holders who believe a review on our Platform contains false statements of fact, infringes on intellectual property, or violates our policies may submit a dispute.

• Required Information: Please include:

  1. The direct URL or link to the specific review.

  2. A detailed explanation of why the review is false, unlawful, or infringing.

  3. Proof of authorization to represent the business or copyright owner.

• Review Timeline: We will review reported posts within 7 business days and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws (including Section 230 of the US Communications Decency Act, the US DMCA, and the UK Defamation Act 2013).
